  • Material Selection and Thermal Management:
      • Material Selection: we use premium steel molds, such as H13 or higher grades to ensure the mold maintains excellent resistance to metal fatigue, continuous wear, and thermal stresses under high pressure and temperature, retaining precision over extended use.
      • Thermal Management: our engineering team carefully considers the effects of thermal stress from high-temperature metals during mold design during the mold design process. We optimize cooling system designs to achieve even temperature distribution, and thereby minimizing deformation and potential damage caused by thermal stress.
  • Runner and Vent System Design:
    • Runner Design: our runner systems ensure that liquid metal fills all mold cavities uniformly and efficiently. Through precise calculations of runner shape, size, and positioning using mold flow simulation software, we avoid issues like turbulence and cold shuts, and thereby improving casting quality.
    • Vent System: we design effective vent systems to quickly expel air from the mold cavity, preventing air pockets and enhancing the density and strength of the castings.

    • Mold Precision: we apply 3D CAD tools, such as PRO-E and SolidWorks directly into the CNC machining and EDM processes. We utilize coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and automated optical inspection systems to ensure mold accuracy during manufacturing and final inspection.
    • Mold Longevity: we employ various treatments to enhance mold durability, including stress relief, heat treatments, and surface treatments, such as nitriding and chrome plating. In addition, we regularly conduct carbon buildup removal and repairs to ensure long-term mold performance.
